Just Getting Started

Use this organizer to classify plants and animals, also includes non-living things. Ideas for use: Show a video and have students record items they see in the video as plant, animal or abiotic -nonliving. Take a nature walk around school and have students record items they see in the appropriate section of the organizer. Let students look through magazines and write or actually cut and paste items into the appropriate section of the organizer.
