The "Math Curse" by Jon Scieszka is a great way to start out the year in math class! Via read-aloud, or by following along on youtube, this book will get your students thinking about math in their lives. This product is an extension activity to pair with the read-aloud. Students would draw their own "math curses" in one of the hexagons making for a wonderful student-generated start-of-the-year bulletin board.
