Students will address the K-level CCSS math standards of "Operations and Algebraic Thinking" 1 and 4 by kinesthetically exploring the number line. And through this physical exploration they will find the compliment of the whole-number set [1,9] to 10 (e.g., 7 is a compliment to 3 because 7 + 3 = 10). Both P.E. skills and math skills are practiced through the lesson, allowing students to develop mathematical maturity while exercising and having fun.
