About the store

Experience

I am in my 23rd year of teaching with the last 13 years in 4th grade in the great state of Kentucky! Prior to that, I taught K - 6th academically gifted students.

Teaching style

I would describe my teaching style as eclectic. I capitalize on all modes of learning: visual, auditory, concrete, abstract, singing, writing, and dancing! And, I'm a firm believer in immersing my students in the language of science! My products are standards based, KPREP designed, and rigorous. My students consistently score in the high 90's on the science KPREP section. When I teach reading, the scores are just as commendable.
