I created this simple worksheet to help my 2nd graders understand rounding to the nearest 10. It worked so well that 17 of the 18 students understood and could round any number by the end of the first lesson. This worksheet allows my students the opportunity to estimate the sum of a two digit addition problem using their newly acquired rounding skills. They then add to find the sum of the two digit numbers. This is a simple place value game along the lines of the popular Battleship game. Two players create a 3,4, or 5 digit number on their game board and take turns trying to determine their opponent's numbers. My students needed extra practice identifying sensory words in sentences and telling which sense the sensory word appeals to, so I created this worksheet. The students are directed to circle the sensory word in each sentence and then identify to which sense it appeals. This product contains 34 sentences and an answer key. It is 5 pages long plus an additional 5 pages for the answer key.

This is a simple probability flip book that I use with my 2nd graders to help them visualize the concepts of impossible, likely, unlikely, and certain. When the fire alarm goes off it's LOUD! and for a second I can't think straight. I need to hurry and sometimes can't put my hands right on my grade book so I created this Fire Drill Class List that I print out on card stock, fold in half and laminate.
