Math Word Problem Key Words (Flower Theme)
Math word problems are always the most difficult part of math class for my 3rd and 4th graders. Often times with word problems, students with low language or vocabulary skills have to tackle the reading comprehension aspect of word problems before they can start to solve the problem. This can cause the students to become frustrated or confused.
This seems to be the case for many students, so I designed this resource to help the students identify the key words used in common word problems. This

Teaching style
I believe that learning should be meaningful and fun for every student. I strive hard to make sure that my lessons access each student at his or her individual learning need by using comprehensible input (color-coding, visual aids, repetition, etc.), and effective feedback. All of my powerpoints and printables are geared toward helping to make sure each and every student can access the curriculum.
