Experience

This is my fifth year teaching 4th grade. I work with many students with IEPs and the majority of my students are English Language Learners. Before starting this position, I taught for two years at a school that served students with mild-moderate learning disabilities.

Teaching style

I believe that learning should be meaningful and fun for every student. I strive hard to make sure that my lessons access each student at his or her individual learning need by using comprehensible input (color-coding, visual aids, repetition, etc.), and effective feedback. All of my powerpoints and printables are geared toward helping to make sure each and every student can access the curriculum.
