This is a project I used as a way to wrap up my unit on the Solar System. Students discover (invent) their own planet. They will write about what they see when they arrive, the weather, and what people can do on this planet. It also includes a page to draw their planet. I've also included a rubric used to score the project.
The project also has a second component to it where students use a Styrofoam ball (found in craft stores) to actually design the planet in a 3D way. Note: I do not provide
