Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my notable achievements includes conducting an independent rapid evidence review on the topic: "How Can Teacher-Pupil Relationships Support the Social and Emotional Development in Trauma-Experienced Pupils?" This review provided valuable insights into the critical role that empathetic, trusting relationships between teachers and pupils play in fostering resilience and emotional wellbeing among students who have experienced trauma. The research also brought teacher wellbeing to the forefront, highlighting its critical importance in the development of both educators and pupils. Recognising this, I have decided to share my resources with fellow educators. By providing these tools, I aim to reduce their workload and help combat burnout, ensuring that teachers can maintain their own health and wellbeing.

My own education history

I hold an Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Childhood Practice from Glasgow Clyde College, which provided a robust foundation in early childhood education. I advanced my studies at the University of Glasgow, where I earned a Master of Arts (Honours) with Teaching Qualification, graduating with a First-Class degree. Building on this, I completed a Master of Education with Teaching Qualification, also with a First-Class degree, at the University of Glasgow.
