I have always had a desire to teach.
I student taught 1st grade, worked as an RTI Instructional Assistant the following year, and taught 2nd grade the year after that. I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years since.

Christian Easter Play for Second Grade- Animals- 7 Characters - 8-10 minutes
For our Easter special at the school I taught at last year, my kids wanted to put on an play with animal characters. I created this play, "What The Animals Thought" to share the story of Jesus' death and resurrection through the perspective of livestock.
There are 7 characters, but more animals could be added to suit a larger class. The characters and their roles are as follows:

Teaching style
I believe hands-on activities leave a lasting impression on most students. My experience suggests that rhymes, songs, and games can really help hard-to-reach children also. I always make sure everything I create is relevant and meaningful; I strive to make my materials fun and interactive as well.
