Hand Signals Poster, Classroom Management
Are you tired of kids interrupting your lesson to ask to go to the bathroom or blow their nose? I created this poster to help minimize those distractions by using hand signals. I used our poster maker to enlarge it and also included them in a section of my newsletter that goes home at the beginning of the year.

Teaching style
I like to introduce a topic through direct instruction. I believe that students should talk to one another about their learning and work together. Group work and partner work also show up in my classroom, as well as lots of writing.
