Halloween Sink or Float Experiment with Candy!
Looking for a fun, hands-on experiment for physical properties of matter after Halloween? Do the kids in your class have WAY too much Halloween candy at home???? Get the kids and parents both involved!
Have parents send a small baggie of candy with students to school and use the following experiment guide to help students predict which candy will sink versus which ones will float! Then, students will record their observations, find key similarities between the candies that sink and the candies
