This product is for working on visualizations while reading. There are 22 student pages, a cover page, MP3, and a rubric for the students. This is a flip book for students to work with vowel sounds. I had my first graders work with a partner and write-the-room style find and record words with each sound per page. We worked on this multiple times, and they liked adding new words over time.

This product is a two small activity sheets that can also be used as assessments for identifying the author's purpose of a text. One provides a short piece of text and an area for students to record their response; the other provides room for students to write the title and author of a book read to the class, and an area for students to record their response.
