This rain forest unit covers reading and math lessons. It includes math games and literacy activities using creatures found in the rain forest.

I use this in my centers. The children use a programmed cube to roll. Whatever icon is at the top, the child colors in one of the rectangles on the worksheet. Included is everything needed for your children. An additional sheet can be copied on the back of the cube roll for more advanced children where they must add two different icons to get a total.. This predictable activity builds number awareness in children. Visual discrimination as well as math concepts for this center.

Counting Nutcrackers is a colorful counting book. The book goes from one through ten. It has a predictable pattern. The Counting Nutcrackers book is colorful and useful for beginning counters. There is also a student B and W version available.

Themed Card Matching/Memory Matching cards to go with every theme. Play like memory. I have included a label at the end of the boxes Print on cardstock and laminate if you would like. I store my games in clasp envelopes- minus the clasps though! Instead I put a Velcro dot on them to keep all of the pieces secure. I use with my Polar Express Unit.
