I have taught in three different high schools across New York State as well as a secondary school in London, England. I currently teach at a regional public high school in Albany, New York where we specialize in wall to wall project based learning and creating authentic experiences for students, while simultaneously teaching the common core standards for the New York State curriculum.

Of Mice and Men Test (NYS Common Core Regents Prep)
This resource provides a two part reading comprehension test for John Steinbeck's, Of Mice and Men novel. It uses New York State regents style multiple choice questions and a Part III central idea analysis essay question. This resource is best used as an end of reading exam that is simultaneously a summative assessment of students understanding of the novel as well as a formative assessment of the skills they will need for the NYS Regents exam.

My own education history
I attended public school in downstate New York before attending SUNY College at Oneonta for my Bachelors in English and Education with a Minor in Dance. I then went on to attain my Masters in Education, with concentration in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, at the University College of London, in London England.
