When students have a hard time accepting "NO" or pulling a ticket use The Bounce Back to help them return to activities without being upset. The Bounce Back is like a fun game of BINGO. You must laminate the card so that it is reusable. Once a student responds in an appropriate manner after being told "No" or after pulling a clip or being told to wait, that student is permitted to put their name anywhere they choose on The Bounce Back card. Each week the teacher will pick a letter and a number
Work with students that do not know how to handle situations when they are angry. Teacher should work with the student for five minutes daily to teach them the proper way to respond to specific situations that frustrate the student. During the day, the teacher may refer back to the sheet if needed.
This chart helps students that have a difficult time using traditional behavior charts. When students are not meeting their goals it helps to point to the chart and remind the student to get back on track.
