About the store
I am an intervention specialist for grades 6-8, working with the students with an emotional disability population. I was teacher at a separate public facility for student's with an emotional disability, grades 9-12. I had been teaching there for four years. I then taught in a public elementary school grade K-3 with the same population of students. I graduated from a University in December of 2011 with a Bachelors in Science in Education, with a license in Mild/ Moderate Intervention Specialist. I also completed my Master's Degree in Early Childhood in 2017. I am currently on my schools PBIS team and continue to consult with others on behavior plans and interventions.

2022-2023 Daily- Weekly- Monthly Behavior Data Collection (auto populate data!)
This behavior data collection tool has it all! All you have to do is input data using the rubric attached. The daily, weekly, and monthly percentages auto populate! You can download each weekly individual tab to email to parents at the end of the week. There is a space for comments where you can detail the behaviors, consequences, and interventions. Get students involved in thinking through their behavior and coming up with logical consequence that makes sense for everyone! Students will recap what happened objectively, explain why it happened, what they were trying to accomplish, what consequence makes sense, and how they will better cope next time. Edits possible!

This daily behavior report card can be used at any grade level. All of this is editable and can be individualized. My former high school students named the levels and it made it more meaningful for them! They also chose their privilege/ reward!

One World- Project Based Learning
This project was designed to get students thinking about their own ethnicity and how they can eliminate discrimination and promote something positive in their culture in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. Students will research a culture that interests them, present their information in a timeline fashion (coming to America), create a scale model of a structure they want in their garden and generate a business proposal for that structure. Presidential Election Project
This is a project based off of USA Today. Students will look at newspapers, magazines or online articles to find a candidate they most agree with. They will look at the candidates major view points to find a theme. The will make a slogan based off the theme to build there candidates campaign. This can be modified for groups or individual work. Extension: Students can give there persuasive speech to classmates and vote at the end.

Utopia- Project Based Learning
A recent zombie apocalypse has forced students to leave their country and build a society on their own. Students will work in groups or individually in order to create their idea of a perfect nation. There are group tasks that must all be included in societies. There are also options that students can include. This project notes that they must choose at least two.

Cardboard Regatta- Project Based Learning
Students will use physics principles, design thinking and math skills in order to design and build a cardboard/ newspaper boat that can be raced by blowing on it through PVC pipes.

Project Based Learning: Team Challenge
Project Based Learning: team challenge is based on the Common Core State Standards. Students will learn to work collaboratively in teams in order to complete a challenge successfully. This can be adapted to work for any grades, or time frame. This is a good project to introduce working with groups or a way to get students to get to know each other!

Teaching style
I am focused on building a supportive and therapeutic structure for students to work on their social/ emotional self, while growing to their fullest potential as a person and learner. I work on collaboration and technological presentations extensively.
