About the store
I am an intervention specialist for grades 6-8, working with the students with an emotional disability population. I was teacher at a separate public facility for student's with an emotional disability, grades 9-12. I had been teaching there for four years. I then taught in a public elementary school grade K-3 with the same population of students. I graduated from a University in December of 2011 with a Bachelors in Science in Education, with a license in Mild/ Moderate Intervention Specialist. I also completed my Master's Degree in Early Childhood in 2017. I am currently on my schools PBIS team and continue to consult with others on behavior plans and interventions.

This behavior data collection tool has it all! All you have to do is input data using the rubric attached. The daily, weekly, and monthly percentages auto populate! You can download each weekly individual tab to email to parents at the end of the week. There is a space for comments where you can detail the behaviors, consequences, and interventions. This is a project based off of USA Today. Students will look at newspapers, magazines or online articles to find a candidate they most agree with. They will look at the candidates major view points to find a theme. The will make a slogan based off the theme to build there candidates campaign. This can be modified for groups or individual work. Extension: Students can give there persuasive speech to classmates and vote at the end.

This can be adapted to work for any grades, or time frame. This is a good project to introduce working with groups or a way to get students to get to know each other!

Experience

Teaching style

I am focused on building a supportive and therapeutic structure for students to work on their social/ emotional self, while growing to their fullest potential as a person and learner. I work on collaboration and technological presentations extensively.
