In this activity, students examine data on how Americans view the Christmas Season. They then choose a particular set of statistics from which to create a chart (pie chart, bar chart, etc.) that they feel best represents their chosen data. Teaching style
With an undergraduate degree in biology combined with Masters degrees in both secondary education and international development, Kurt combines his educational background with his personal interests and experiences to help shape his approach in the classroom. Certified in both social studies and science, Kurt often bring the two subjects together in an interdisciplinary approach. Frequently engaging students through the use of online games and simulations, Kurt often uses the methodology of both project- and problem-based learning styles.
