This game is designed for 26 participants. Print the pages and cut into strips so each student receives at least one strip of paper with a direction on it. The teacher always starts the first one. The students need to be able to read their strip of paper to know when to act out their given activity. No one should talk (except if the direction strip says to) because the students have to be listening and watching so they know when their task is next in the sequence. It is fun to do this game
This Power Point Presentation is designed for a beginning of the year meeting for first grade parents. It gives an overview of the reading process and ways parents can help their young reader along the journey.
Use these printable labels to adhere on the front of an envelope after a child has mastered some of the sight words in his/her stack. Instead of throwing them away, send them home to boost confidence.
