Short-Term Memory Sequence GameA Simple, Supportive Activity for Working MemoryThis low-prep activity is designed to support short-term (working) memory by helping students practice holding and recalling information in the correct order over a brief period of time. Using simple color cards, students recreate short sequences from memory in a calm, low-pressure way. Short-term memory plays an important role in following directions, problem-solving, reading, writing, and math.
I use this writing paper to teach my kinder students about touching the lines when writing. The top line is the sky, bottom line is the grass and the middle line has bees on it. I helps them remember where to start when writing uppercase and lowercase letters and not to go over the lines.
