The majority of my instruction is student-led. I enjoy having my students engage in a text with task cards and show their learning through class discussions. I also think that building relationships with students is extremely important, especially at the high school level, where students can be vulnerable and in need of a positive role model. A lot of my teaching is impacted by the emotional and social needs of my students and I incorporate mindfulness, mental health awareness, and positivity as much as I can.
