Lake Learning is a wife-n-husband team that has been teaching in the public schools for over 35 years combined. We have experience in everything from preschool - 3rd grades and all four years of high school English language arts, as well as journalism, yearbook production, and video production.

We believe learning should be authentic, multi-modal, differentiated & fun for both students and teachers.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Together we have earned numerous Teacher of the Month, Teacher of the Year & "Best of the Lake" -Best Teacher awards. The greatest honor we have received, however, is watching our students light up when learning something new!
My own education history
Lake Learning has two bachelors' degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder (one for each of us), as well as two Masters' degrees in curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri, Columbia. We also have a National Board Certification in Early Childhood.
