These two pages are to check if your students are test ready! Questions cover prime and composite numbers, factors and multiples, and word problems. Two problems deal with shape patterns, because Florida lumps that in with the other standards. Those are on the second page, so can be removed. This can be used as classwork review, homework, or an exit slip. And yes, the answer key is included!
A fun activity to get your kids outside and learning! I take my students to the playground and have them identify: parallel and perpendicular lines; obtuse, acute, and straight angles; and obtuse, acute, and right triangles. Students will find the shapes around on the playground equipment, draw them, label them, and then name them. One sample has been done for the students - a right angle which was identified on the monkey bars. We all love getting outside to do this learning activity!
Students are given a budget to "purchase" items for their Thanksgiving meal. They will complete the budget form after researching the best prices. Students then get to create their own Thanksgiving table - a physical representation of their Thanksgiving meal budget.

This is an alternate to Two Dimensional Shapes on the Playground - just in case you can't get your kids outside. It's a fun real-world learning activity to help the identify 2D shapes. Students will look all around and identify: parallel and perpendicular lines; obtuse, acute, and straight angles; and obtuse, acute, and right triangles.
