This booklet is a project for students to complete either in class or at home over a period of time. It requires the students to research key facts and interesting pieces of information about St. Augustine. It is perfect for students who have or will be visiting St. Augustine on a field trip.

This bundle includes outline notes for each chapter, worksheets (8), and a study guide for the final assessment. These resources align with the Core Knowledge reader: Dynasties of China. The worksheets can be used as classwork, homework, or quizzes. I use the outline notes for students to copy as I write them on the board as we study each chapter.

To be used in conjunction with the book This Is Just to Say: Poems of Apology and Forgiveness by Joyce Sidman. Step by step you will guide the students how to write an apology poem similar to those in this book. I typically have the students write their final poem on a blank white piece of paper which they illustrate. The pages then become our own classroom This is Just to Say book.

Two problems deal with shape patterns, because Florida lumps that in with the other standards. Those are on the second page, so can be removed. A fun activity to get your kids outside and learning! I take my students to the playground and have them identify: parallel and perpendicular lines; obtuse, acute, and straight angles; and obtuse, acute, and right triangles. Students will find the shapes around on the playground equipment, draw them, label them, and then name them. One sample has been done for the students - a right angle which was identified on the monkey bars. We all love getting outside to do this learning activity!

Simply a one page document that allows students the space to brainstorm 7 ideas they come up with. Following that list, students can choose their top three, then their favorite option!

Students love to create things! This project is an independent project they can do at home (or you can adapt it for your classroom). It's perfect for Earth Day or a unit on recycling. Students will create an upcycled project based on the guidelines provided. They will write about it, and if you choose, present it to the class.

Students keep track of how they do on the timed multiplication and division test. They record their information, as well as they can draw a picture or write a word ("Wow" "Ugh", etc.) based on how they did. It keeps a great record and allows students to take ownership of their learning.

This is an easy to use, student friendly, essay planning guide. One page is a template for their planning page with boxes and lines for them to fill in.
