In this activity, children will practice calculating the unit price of various packages of items in the produce section of the grocery store. After collecting data, children will determine unit price to make informed consumer decisions.

With this activity, children will collect data from the produce section of the grocery store and using the data, develop an understanding of linear functions.

With this resource, children measure various spherical fruits / vegetables and determine the surface area. Children will use the experience to determine the 'edible' volume of by problem solving.

In this grocery store activity, students will weigh produce and determine the mean, median and mode of the products. From this data, they will solve 'real world' problems. Additionally, the resource includes an activity that requires the children to make conclusions base on line graphs of production.

This is a quick and easy practice activity for students who are working to understand the text of the Declaration of Independence. I found it helpful with those students who struggle with the text. This can be used for an Interactive Notebook activity by cutting and pasting the pages to complete the translate or as a digital activity where students move the blocks to the appropriate spot on the page to represent the text.
