This is a set of 15 bookmarks. The 12 of them look the same but have different quotes on them, 3 of them are blank. I created these for my students as they read the book Because of Winn-Dixie. I printed these on card stock, wrote their names on the back, and then laminated them. This is a simple template to help students plan out writing a short historical fiction paper. There is a graphic organizer, first draft, and final draft. You could read books like A Night Divided or Henry's Freedom Box to give students an idea about what historical fiction writing should look like. This organizer really helps students lay out their ideas before writing their story.

Students can practice spelling words in a colorful and artistic way. Each spelling word will be repeated in a section in one color.

I made this Metaphor or Simile powerpoint review for 3rd grade students but it would work well for 2nd-5th also. I had students give a thumbs up for simile and a thumbs down for metaphor. Answers are hidden until you click again for them to appear. This is a great and fun way to review similes and metaphors before a test.

I created this for reviewing nouns, verbs, and adjectives with my class. The first 3 slides are print outs for the game. I grouped/paired students up together and then gave each group the printables. When the word goes up on the screen they would discuss and put up the sign they thought was correct. This was a great way to get them interacting with each other and interested in reviewing. I kept score and the team that had the most correct the fastest won classroom dollars.

I made this Declarative, Interrogative, Imperative, and Exclamatory powerpoint review for 3rd grade students but it would work well for 2nd-5th as well. I labeled the four corners of the classroom with Declarative, Interrogative, Imperative, or Exclamatory and had students move to the corner they thought had the correct answer. Answers are hidden until you click again for them to appear. You can also have students add the correct punctuation.

I created this so that students can self-correct their writing before submitting it. I laminated it so that students could use a dry erase marker and check off as they go then erase when they're finished.

This is a simple sorting activity for producers, consumers, and decomposers. There is a page with a table to sort producers, consumers, and decomposers with simple definitions and a place to glue pictures onto. There is a paper with the pictures of different organisms for students to cut out. There is also an answer key that can be used as a classroom poster.

There are two worksheets for kindergarten students focused on number combinations, each with an answer key. Students will cut out the circles and glue them onto the correct snowman. This activity aligns with the standard K.OA.3.

This is an alphabet linking chart. I use this with students as a fluency routine before starting a lesson. I have students point to the first box and I say the object, letter sound, and name. Then I have them repeat it. Once they become confident they can say it on their own pointing to each box as they say the object, letter sound, and name. Example: Apple, AH, A. Ball, Buh, B. There's two versions included, one is all blue while the other has the vowels in red and the consonants in blue.

This is a listening activity. What is shown is the answer key and the directions, the actual page will not be colored in. The teacher will read the directions and the students will have to listen carefully to directions in order to complete the activity correctly. I would use this in the beginning of the year and/or use it when you notice your students are having trouble following directions or listening.

This is a quick activity you can do with kids during end-of-year testing or final days of school. On the left side, students will write 3 things they want to do over the summer. On the right side, they will draw the 3 things they wrote about.
