This is a set of 15 bookmarks. The 12 of them look the same but have different quotes on them, 3 of them are blank. I created these for my students as they read the book Because of Winn-Dixie. I printed these on card stock, wrote their names on the back, and then laminated them. An idea for the blank ones would be to have students choose a quote to write in it or simply put their name on it before laminating. This is a simple template to help students plan out writing a short historical fiction paper. There is a graphic organizer, first draft, and final draft. You could read books like A Night Divided or Henry's Freedom Box to give students an idea about what historical fiction writing should look like. This organizer really helps students lay out their ideas before writing their story.

Students can practice spelling words in a colorful and artistic way. Each spelling word will be repeated in a section in one color.

This worksheet can be used with a reading passage to find the main idea and three key details that support the main idea. I have been using this with my students who were struggling to pull the main idea out of a passage.

This bulletin board says "Be Kind and Truthful and Your Life Will Be Fruitful" in yellow and green letters. There are also pineapples for students to color in and options for eyes, mouth, and speech bubbles. I had students decorate their own pineapple and then in the speech bubble they wrote one way they can be kind. Then I used the leaves and flowers to create a boarder. This was an easy and cute bulletin board.

I placed the affirmation station and "I Am" at the top and put the tags around the mirror. Students loved starting their day in a positive way. I printed these out on card stock and laminated them for durability and reusability.
