This is a set of 6 bookmarks that can be printed on card stock and laminated. To add a personal touch, you could have students write their names on the bookmarks they choose during Meet the Teacher Night before laminating them. Alternatively, you could write their names on the bookmarks ahead of time, laminate them, and place them on their desks for the first day of school! This is a quick explanation of what a New Years resolution is. Students can write their own resolution on their bookmark. Then the teacher can laminate it & students can keep it to remind them what their goal is.

This is a simple, no frills Inference worksheet. It has an easy to understand definition of inference. On one side students can write direct quotes from a passage. On the other side students can write what they infer from the quote.
