About the store
I am a passionate educator with a strong commitment to helping students grow as thoughtful readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I have over seven years of experience teaching middle school English Language Arts (grades 6–8) and three years teaching high school writing (grades 9–12). I have also spent three years teaching academically and intellectually gifted (AIG) middle school students in reading and math, where I developed lessons that challenge students to think deeply and engage with complex ideas. In addition to classroom teaching, I have more than ten years of tutoring experience with students in grades 2–12, supporting learners in reading, writing, and academic skill development. I have had the opportunity to serve as the writing chair at my school, where I collaborated with colleagues in a two-year initiative to rewrite the district’s writing curriculum. This experience strengthened my focus on building strong writing instruction that emphasizes clarity, structure, and analytical thinking. Currently, I serve as the faculty advisor for my school’s middle school Quill writing team, where I help students refine their writing skills and develop confidence as young authors. My goal in creating resources is to provide rigorous, engaging, and classroom-tested materials that help students think critically, write effectively, and develop a deeper understanding of literature.

I am a passionate educator with a strong commitment to helping students grow as thoughtful readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Teaching style

My teaching approach is rooted in student-centered, project-based learning, where students actively engage with content rather than passively receiving information. I believe students learn best when they are given opportunities to explore ideas, ask questions, collaborate with peers, and apply their knowledge through meaningful projects. I strive to design lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and deeper analysis, allowing students to take ownership of their learning. Many of my activities involve choice-based projects, discussion, inquiry, and real-world connections so students can engage with literature and academic concepts in authentic ways. I also enjoy integrating technology into classroom learning whenever possible. Digital tools can enhance student engagement, support collaboration, and allow students to demonstrate their understanding in innovative formats such as presentations, digital projects, and multimedia responses. My goal is to create resources that are rigorous, engaging, and adaptable, helping teachers provide students with meaningful learning experiences that build both academic skills and confidence.

My own education history

I hold a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialty licensure in English Language Arts for grades 6–9, which has provided me with a strong foundation in literacy instruction, writing development, and literature analysis. I also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting, which has strengthened my skills in organization, problem solving, and analytical thinking—skills that I incorporate into the structure and design of my instructional materials. In addition to my degrees, I hold the following teaching certifications: K–6 Elementary Education (All Content Areas) English Language Arts Certification for Grades 6–9 Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Certification for Grades K–12 These certifications, along with my classroom experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels, allow me to design resources that are rigorous, thoughtfully scaffolded, and adaptable for a wide range of learners. My experience teaching gifted students also influences the resources I create, as many of them emphasize higher-order thinking, inquiry-based learning, and deep literary analysis. My goal is to create high-quality, classroom-tested resources that help teachers challenge students while keeping learning engaging and meaningful.
