This is a social story about independence for your students! In the story it promotes doing tasks independently and continuing to try before asking for help. This is very beneficial for students who may need some encouragement when it comes to completing tasks such as dressing/undressing, putting on or taking off shoes, packing their belongings, gathering their own materials, etc.

This sheet works perfectly for activities to practice sorting and matching colors. The materials you would need in addition to this would be tongs or tweezers, and your choice of colored materials such as pom poms, buttons, counting bears/dinosaurs, etc.
