The 60 Second Sweep is a way to show mastery of the multiplication facts between 2 and 9. It is so important that students have strong multiplication skills, that students in all math classes must complete the 60 Second Sweep as part of their multiplication qualifications (for which students receive a grade). We go over this the first day and recite it daily in class for the first week.

This file contains a surface area pop quiz. Students are to draw a net of prism shown. Then, they are to find its surface area. The file also has a rubric and a parent signature section. The students may also include one wish and one like of the presentation. The file also comes in color and in black & white.

Here is a fun addition game for your students. Great for IWT. All it take is two players or small group.

In this small group activity the goal is for students to use a hundred chart to skip count from the given starting and ending point by 2, 5 and 10. Student can also this activity corporately with a group or independently.
