About the store
I have taught 16 years at the middle school level, 11 of these with 8th graders. This year will be my seventh at the elementary level. After one year teaching Gifted, I-STEM, and SPED in an elementary school, I switched back to working with SPED students full time. This year I'm also partnering with another teacher for a Mini Economy® after-school group.

I-STEM Unit: Play Dough Puzzler
Most I-STEM projects at our school are made using tape, glue, or string. What if these materials were not available? Play dough could be used, but there are many different recipes. What recipe would make the best play dough to create a model of an insect with other reusable materials?
In this I-STEM unit, students are challenged to design and make play dough that can used to create an insect without using glue, tape, or anything else to keep it together. It was

Experience
