A fun way to practice equivalent number combinations! Students choose the numbers they write in the pepperonis, so every game is different. Choose numbers or a combination of numbers and number criteria to define the target number. Students then search for any two numbers on their board which, when added or subtracted, yield the target number. This familiar activity has a twist that challenges fact knowledge in a different way - the answer is given, it is the equation which yields the answer that students have to search for. BUT - not all boards have an equation for every product AND they may have more than one equation with the desired product, requiring them to strategically choose one to mark.
Addition, subtraction, multiplication, factors, odd/even...you choose the skill or skills students will practice with TRI-NUMBERS. Students join the colorful triangle cards according to the criteria you choose. In this engaging 2-3 person game, players move around the board collecting number (0-10) and operation cards (+, -, =). The goal of the game is to make a true number sentence. Shortcuts, the chance to earn extra cards and choosing their favorite pet (cat or dog) add to the game's appeal.
