MONKEY ROUNDING provides practice rounding 2-digit numbers to the nearest 10 or 3-digit numbers to the nearest hundred. 2- 6 students can play this engaging board game. Students take turns flipping over a banana card and rounding the number on the card. If correct (other players can check the rounding chart included) the player looks on the number card to see if it has 1, 2, 3 or 4 bananas. Students will practice adding the values of coins and learn to anticipate possible outcomes in this simple game. After playing a game or two, players will realize that sometimes it's better to take a lesser value coin rather than take a higher value coin which makes an even more valuable coin an end coin. You will need play coins for this activity.

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, factors, odd/even...you choose the skill or skills students will practice with TRI-NUMBERS. Students join the colorful triangle cards according to the criteria you choose. Bunny time provides practice with analog time in a game format. Players compete to be the first to move around the clock to 12:00. To move from number to number they draw a card and must either read an analog clock face or set the game board clock to a written time. Gobble Bingo is a quick, easy activity to practice number bonds. Give each student a Gobble board. Instruct them to write a number from 1-9 in each of the feathers. Students can write any number in any feather — they don’t need to use every number, and can use a number more than once. Announce a number from 1-10, or allow students to take turns choosing the number.
