These five picture Sudoku puzzles coordinate with the If You Give a … books by Laura Numeroff, but they can also be used as a general problem solving center activity. The 4-square picture format allows even young children to challenge themselves with Sudoku. The picture cards allow students to easily try out solutions. Only the pictures needed to complete the puzzle are given, so students are guided toward a successful experience. Solutions are provided.

These simple but effective activities are easy to prepare, easy to store and easy to play.The 30 activities are designed for single students and only require counting chips, playing cards and/or dice. The challenges are perfect for early finishers, centers or free play. Each activity is on a separate page, so you can choose the challenges which fit each student. Print out the instructions, laminate them or insert into a plastic sleeve, gather the cards, dice and/or counters listed, place in a
