STEM CHALLENGE: Newspaper Table I don't know about you by my students LOVE STEM challenges! They all enjoy the hands on building component, show really valuable mathematic, science and design learning and my favorite thing, have showed great improvement in teamwork skills! This challenge focus on students working in small teams to plan and build a structure from newspaper and masking tape, that can hold an increasing weight (stacked books!). The Continent of Asia Poster
The perfect poster to pair with your Geography unit! My students used this Continent of Asia Poster in our cooking around the world unit, connecting it to the world map with a piece of string and pairing it with photos of the Asian dishes we made. A great way to discuss some interesting facts about the biggest continent.
