Learning with Lea

I am a first-grade teacher and always love to have students do self-evaluations and goal-setting. I use these often right before conferences, and then I or the students are able to share their self-perceptions with their grown-ups. It’s a great tool to be able to gauge self-awareness and to make kids think about how they want to shape the remainder of their school year. I refer back to these with the kids often, and they are also great for data portfolios.

This Power Goal Book includes the Power Goals and "Teacher Checks" for the 2 Red level of the American Reading Company (ARC) IRLA.  This resource is designed to make it easier for the teachers to check each skill (that includes points on the IRLA) and for students to be able to color in each skill and skill part that they have learned.
