I am a first-grade teacher, and my district uses the ARC (American Reading Company) curriculum. I use these reading logs instead of the provided one because it is WAY EASIER for families and for me. They color in a star for each reading step (15 minutes) they earn. They turn it in at the end of each month and I give them the new one. When I receive their old one, I enter all of those steps into Schoolpace. Simple!
I am a first-grade teacher and always love to have students do self-evaluations and goal-setting.
