Third Grade Transition Words and Phrases *By Writing Type*

This is an easy to reference resource that would be helpful in moving your students from a level 2 to a level 3 in writing (according to the TN State Writing Rubric). To implement this the best, fishbowl the activity before having students pair up. The directions are simple, however, students can easily get confused with the idea of connecting all of their rectangles. Now, happy playing!!

Dojo Rewards *Privileges NOT items!*

This is a Dojo Reward chart with blanks for adding values for each month. There are more privileges given instead of item rewards. I find my students enjoy the privileges more! There is also a line for creating a class goal for the month with more privileges for the whole class to earn. Enjoy!

About the store

Experience

Hello! I am currently a self-contained 3rd grade teacher. Prior to 3rd grade, I taught ELA in 5th grade.

Teaching style

I am a believer that student learn best from one another. There is open discussion, question time, and lots of peer talking and sharing of ideas and strategies in my classroom. I know education must be interactive and engaging in order to solidify learning and retention of skills and concepts.

My own education history

I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I earned my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's in Reading.
