This Valentine's Day Volume Box Extension Project is a great way to connect volume concepts to hands-on real life, hands-on math for your students! Students will need to bring in a box (cereal, shoe, cracker, soda, whatever works!) from home for this project prior to completing this. We did the math work before the decorating.
