With over 27 years of experience in education, I have taught elementary and middle school students, specializing in mathematics. As a National Board Certified Teacher, I collaborate with educators across all grade levels to enhance instructional practices. In recognition of my dedication, I was awarded as a NASA K12 Educator and selected by Microsoft as an Innovative Educator, highlighting my commitment to integrating technology and innovative strategies into the classroom to inspire students and teachers.

My teaching style fosters a hands-on, project-based learning environment where students actively engage with the material. While delivering content is essential, it is equally important to create opportunities for students to make their own discoveries, encouraging deeper understanding and critical thinking. I am passionate about technology and integrate it whenever possible to enhance learning, using digital tools to create interactive and dynamic experiences that connect students to real-world applications. This approach not only builds foundational knowledge but also empowers students to become independent learners.
