Pumpkin Math Placemats - Using Pumpkin Seeds
Now you have all those pumpkin seeds, what do you do???
This activity uses those pumpkins seeds to reinforce addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Print out the "pumpkin place-mat" and have your students work the math problems out using pumpkin seeds. Print in color on card-stock front to back for years of repeated use. Makes clean up a snap. Also check out the SMART Notebook version for interactivity in the classroom.

Use this interactive SMART Notebook file to work on basic math processes with your students. Students solve the problems you give using their pumpkin seeds on their place-mats. Then come to the SMART Board and using the infinitely cloned pumpkin seed, he/she can show how to solve the problem.
