About the store

Experience

I have worked with all grade levels in the elementary school setting, from Kindergarten students all the way through 5th grade students, as an Interventionist. I've also worked as a middle school teacher, teaching Science, Math, and Language Arts to a variety of grade levels. I love working with struggling students and watching them grow, no matter what age or grade level.

Teaching style

I try my hardest to be a very creative teacher, teaching how different students learn rather than forcing them to learn how I teach. I use games, hands-on activities, fun facts, poems, dances, and songs (yes, my students have heard me sing) to get my students interested in what we're doing.

Awards & shining teacher moments

It is an honor to teach my students every day.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I double majored in Mathematics and Language Arts and minored in Integrated Science. I am certified in all three of these subjects. Part of my love of teaching comes from my love of learning. My students can see how passionate I am about learning, and that makes them excited about learning too.

Additional biographical information

When I'm not teaching, you can find me with my hubby, who is a high school teacher. I also love to cook, bake, scrapbook, do arts and crafts activities, go fishing and boating, and have campfires. I'm slightly addicted to Pinterest and all things s'mores. If you have any questions or if you are not completely pleased with my products, please email me at LearningForLifeTeachingResources@aol.com
