I use these math vocabulary charts in each unit to help students work through word problems. Through repetition and consistently referring back to the vocabulary for each operation, students are able to determine which operation is needed to solve problems! There are also area and perimeter pages with the formula, as well as bigger and smaller charts used to help students determine which operation to use for problem solving.

This product is useful for personalizing journals and giving students more ownership in their work. When I was self-contained I used these to help students keep track of which journal corresponded with each subject so that they were always working in the correct journal. Students enjoy decorating the front to make it their own! As a departmentalized teacher, these help with keeping journals separated and students are easily able to find their journals based on the cover!
