The objective of this lecture is to share a model lesson that involves the use and exploration of critical thinking skills by students. The exploration of this lesson provides an example of what the planning for this type of learning could look like as well and providing ideas about what the student evaluation pieces could look like.

Engaging Students With High Interest Content This is a brief screen cast describe ideas around engaging students using high interest content as a basis for critical discussions with students.

Setting the Stage for Critical Discussion: The objective of this lecture is to share ideas about how we can build a community in our classroom that accommodates open discussion. I will share ideas about what I do in my classroom and a successful resource that is widely used.
