I have 22 years experience in the classroom. My certifications include early childhood, elementary (k-6) gen ed, and middle school math. In addition to teaching in public and private schools, I have taught Bible class for over two decades in classes with students from 2 years old to adults. Magic Number Talks are a great tool to use with small or whole groups to work on logic and utilize math vocabulary in an authentic way. This product comes with clues to accompany a chart for 1-20, a second set for 1-50 and then a third set for 1-100. Vocabulary includes terms for operations (sum, difference, product, quotient), geometry (shapes, sides and vertices), and money (penny, nickel, dime, quarter). These work best if clues are given one at a time and the chart is marked with numbers

My own education history

I have a BSEd, MAEd, and EdS in elementary education. I have also added on certifications for early childhood and middle school math.

Additional biographical information

I am a wife and mom to two precious boys. We have two cats that are also boys! In addition to my duties as wife and mom, I am a deacon's wife and full-time teacher. I love following my boys to all of their events and cheering for them from the sidelines!
