I have been a math teacher for 20 years. My grade levels of experience include 4th-8th grade math. I was a math teacher in Texas for 18 years and currently in my 2nd year in Indiana.
This game of Slope Trashketball requires students to find the slope when given 2 points and the graph. Zero slope is used once, and undefined is not used at all. Students are also asked to identify positive and negative slopes from a graph.
This worksheet is used with the Real Number Spinners. The students spin the spinners and using the numbers they land on, will answer questions. The questions include finding a number that is between two numbers, ordering the numbers from least to greatest, greatest to least, and converting rational numbers into fraction and decimal form.
These are 4 spinners, each representing different types of numbers in the real number system (rational, irrational, integers, and whole). I did not include natural numbers. This can be used for multiple uses, but I use it with the Ordering and Comparing Real Numbers worksheet that can be found in my store. It is also a free download. There is also a page of spinners already filled out with numbers if you don't have time to create your own.
