This handout contains a short translation section as well as a section where they will interview classmates while using comparatives and superlatives. In the last section, the students will create sentences of their own using comparatives and superlatives.

Over 90 questions total, this 3 page handout gives students the opportunity to practice stem-changing verbs, reflexive verbs, and use tener+que in pre-written sentences. They have a section where they will translate a list of 25 reflexive verbs into English. They could use this list as a reference in the future for a time when they would create sentences of their own in your class. This handout would be ideal for use as a review for a test or even as practice they could do at home.

This is a simple survey that you can use to learn more about your students on the first day. It will ask them general questions about themselves, their interests, and other information to help you learn more about them to more effectively teach them. It will also ask them for their contact information in case you need to reach them throughout the year. Its also a great icebreaker for the class if you let them choose something from the survey to share with the class

This two page packet provides students with the opportunity to build up to creating their own sentences by first showing them verb endings, allowing them to translate new verb vocabulary, add endings to verb stems, correct sentences that have errors in the conjugations, and then finally, create their own sentences using the skills they have mastered.

This activity contains 15 fill in the blank questions for students to practice conjugating regular, irregular, and stem-changing verbs. They will have 10 ser vs. estar fill in the blank questions as well as 10 por vs. para fill in the blanks. This could work well as a test prep activity, or simply as a homework or in-class activity.

Students will read sentences and determine if they should conjugate the verbs in parenthesis in the preterite, imperfect, future, or present tense. They will interview classmates about sentences written in all the above tenses and then translate the sentences into English. The final portion of the activity requires students to create a total of 6 sentences. They will write 2 preterite tense sentences, 2 imperfect tense sentences, and 2 future tense sentences.

This activity has a chart of each verb conjugation at the top of the page for regular, present tense verbs. Students will fill in the blanks in sentences with correct verb conjugations, they will also interview classmates and translate sentences. For the last activity, they will create four sentences of their own.

This assignment is designed to be a reference and practice sheet for students learning to conjugate present tense ER verbs in Spanish. It walks them through the process in a simple way and allows them to build their skills by giving them simple practice sentences.

This one-page handout will give your students the opportunity to conjugate verbs by form and tense based on the sentences they read. They will translate ten verbs in the first activity, conjugate ten verbs in the second activity, and in the third, they will see verbs that have already been conjugated and they will have to determine which tense they see.

Students will translate introduction vocabulary, then conjugate forms of "ser" before filling in the blanks with the correct endings of adjectives. Great for a test review for Spanish 1 or a beginners' Spanish class.

Students will read a sentence in Spanish, then decide what vocabulary word or phrase could apply to that sentence. The sentences are about locations and stores. There are ten total phrases with lines for their answer and an additional line below each sentence where they will translate what they are reading from Spanish to English.

This handout gives students the opportunity to practice conjugating stem-changing verbs in pre-written sentences. They will also have a translating section, a section where they will choose the correct form of "gustar" and a section with "tener que" phrases. This would be great as a test review, additional practice to reinforce concepts learned in class, or as a way to measure student's pre-existing knowledge of these concepts before beginning a new unit.

Students will read three paragraphs in Spanish about the places the narrator has gone. They will draw a map that shows the places the person went throughout the day. Students will use vocabulary about stores and directions as well as the preterite and imperfect tenses.

Students will really test their knowledge of Spanish vocabulary and grammar with this assignment. They will translate sentences from English into Spanish and state which tense they used. This allows them the opportunity to think about why each tense is used. They will also have a section where they will draw a simple representation of sentences they read.

Students will interview classmates in Spanish, writing down what their classmates say. Then, they will read and answer sentences about famous people which will help them with the next section where they will create their own sentences. In the last section, they will draw pictures of sentences they read. This activity is designed for students who are learning to describe people and also learning to pay attention to adjective endings.

This is a simple template for your students to use to keep their bell work all in one place. They could keep this in a binder or notebook for your class.

Students will conjugate regular present tense ER verbs in 10 sentences, then find the 10 conjugated verbs in a wordsearch activity. Key is included.

Allow students to literally piece their sentences and conjugations together. They will be able to create their own sentences with words and conjugated verbs from the lists included in the activity. They will also translate the sentences they create, demonstrating that they understand what they are building.
