Writing Lesson- R.A.C.E.R.- RECORDED Instruction
Virtual Online Instruction- RECORDED lesson that teaches students how to organize a text-dependent written response by using a visual with puzzle pieces. I have successfully taught my students how to construct a well-organized essay using this lesson. The R.A.C.E.R. format is used to teach students how each section of an essay connects. Additional biographical information
I spent most of my teaching career in an urban district. I now teach in a suburban area in northern New Jersey. I am a mom to two beautiful children, ages 8 and 10. Even though I currently teach Middle School, I am constantly looking for new ways to help my own children understand the skills they learn in the elementary grades.
