States of Matter over Broadway!
Need an engaging states of matter activity to get you to thanksgiving break? explore the history and science behind the macy's parade balloons. Students get to create a balloon, observe a gas being heated and cooled and what that does to the balloon and the mass. Lesson plan included, slides to follow along with and a data sheet for students to record their experiment!

Science Interviews
Students will rotate "interviewing" each other by answering questions. Each question will be answered by a different student on their paper. At the end, I always have them choose who they would give the job to if this was a real job interview! Students love sharing answers from their classmates and they are answering questions too!

Have a hard time getting students to think about science, forget writing about it! Well here is your quick solution. I use these in my classroom as exit tickets. These reflection questions correlate to overarching understandings for each science concept as well as misconceptions that I have seen students make. There are 15 premade and I have included the template so you can make your own as well! (Will continue to add more questions)

Teaching style
I love love love making learning fun! Everything I post on my store is something that is used in my classroom, no fluff here! Visuals are a MUST because I have a community of ELL students and Students with learning disabilities. My goal with the content I create is to make learning accessible to all!

I'm Summer. I love a good pun and I love creating things which is where my store name came from! I hope to add the best and cutest products that I can to my classroom and I love sharing them with you. I teach math and science but I like reading as well. My store will mostly have decor, games, tech things, math, and science because I don't see the reason in making something that I am not going to use.
